Classification of Fire
• Fires can be classed as 'A', 'B', 'C', ‘D’
• Class A – Involve solid materials,
usually of organic matter such as paper, wood, furniture, textiles etc.
• Class B – Involve liquids or liquefiable solids such as paints, oils, petrol or fats.
• Class C – Involve fires fueled
By flammable gases.
• Class D - Metal
