Every work
site has its associated safety hazards like electric shock, slip, trip, fall
from height, dropping objects, H2S, manual handling and many others. But almost
all the work sites confront with the fire hazard. Fire has become an essential
part of human life. It is important for human being as for as it is under
control and works as per your desire. The moment it go beyond your control, it
has very serious implications. Fires kills more than 200 and injure
thousands workers each year.
About 4% of the world gross domestic products lost every year though the cost of deaths, injury absence etc due to occupational accidents / incidents. This is the responsibility of employer to provide proper firefighting equipment, and employee training to prevent fire deaths and injuries in the workplace. The employee responsibility is to stick with rule and Fire & safety code of practices
